De Brauw acted as Dutch legal adviser to New World Resources N.V. on its initial public offering on the London, Prague and Warsaw Stock Exchanges.

The listed shares are "tracking stock" of the company's mining division. The IPO was the largest in London in 2008 to date, the largest IPO ever in the Czech Republic and one of the largest ever in Poland. The value of the transaction was approximately EUR 1.6 billion.
