Alexandru is a senior associate in De Brauw's arbitration and litigation practice.

Alexandru has acted as counsel in commercial and investment arbitrations, arbitration-related court proceedings and competition litigation, with a focus on the energy, construction and insurance sectors. Alexandru also has experience acting as tribunal secretary in arbitration proceedings. He regularly advises listed companies, large corporate clients and sovereign states on complex matters spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Before joining De Brauw, Alexandru worked at the European Commission in Brussels. He is a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) and holds law degrees from University College London (LLB) and the College of Europe (LLM).
