Merel is a Senior Associate in De Brauw’s Corporate / M&A practice. Merel regularly represents national and international clients on domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity and equity capital transactions. Merel has also gained experience in the Banking & Finance practice. She has acted for financial institutions, private equity investors and borrowers on domestic and cross-border financing transactions. This combination of M&A and financing experience enables her to advise clients throughout all stages of a transaction. Merel combines strong analytical skills with commercial awareness and works closely with clients to achieve efficient deal execution.

• Bregal Unternehmerkapital on the acquisition of SnelStart.
• Baker Tilly Netherlands and Inflexion on the merger of Baker Tilly Netherlands and Baker Tilly Belgium. 
• Inflexion on its investment in Baker Tilly Netherlands.
