Legal Process Manager

About the role
As a Legal Process Manager you will be a bridge between legal and technology. You will be responsible for organising, managing, and improving the process in complex legal matters, but also design and implement process improvements that will improve the legal process in general. You will be working with lawyers and clients, consulting with them closely to deliver results and implement solutions that improve our way of working.
As part of the Legal Operations department you will make sure that our solutions stay at the forefront of developments. We offer you a very diverse job where you will be handling a wide range of projects. Your role will include:
- Hands-on management of legal projects in close cooperation with the senior stakeholders (e.g., client, partners, senior associates);
- Offering advice (and support) to implement the appropriate technology, platforms and/or providers relevant for each project;
- Developing and managing these tools. processes, and teams to facilitate a seamless and high quality delivery of projects within the agreed scope, budget and timeline;
- Engaging with lawyers, clients and colleagues from within other departments to map legal processes, identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement and propose solutions;
- Keeping track of what is happening in the world of legal tech, knowledge management, and data analytics to spot opportunities.
- Initiating and leading legal process improvement projects with a fast value delivery in close connection with our lawyers.
- Embedding tools and other new ways of working in our organisation to ensure excellent service to our lawyers and clients, incl. continuous development, training and support.
Who are you?
You

- are assertive and pro-active, comfortable to take the lead in larger groups and share advice, ideas or concerns;
- have experience working independently, and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
The ideal candidate for this position has the following qualifications:
- Experience with project management and process improvements
- Knowledge of legal tech, data analytics and knowledge management or a keen interest to develop in this area;
- Experience working in a high-paced professional environment;
- Bachelor or Masters degree in law, or work experience in a law firm;
- A good command of English and Dutch.
