We offer you a unique opportunity to join our Employment Law & Employee Benefits practice as an associate at our Amsterdam office. Our Employment & Employee Benefits practice, which is leading in the Netherlands, covers employment law in the widest sense of the word. It handles the most interesting and complex employment, co-determination and pension law litigation, while at the same time working closely with our Corporate / M&A practice in national and international transactions.
About the role
As an associate, you will be advising and representing companies in respect of individual dismissals (particularly at the executive level), collective dismissals and reorganisations, national and European co-determination (Works Councils Act and European Works Council Act), Collective Labour Agreements, flexible and temporary employment relationships, pension's law, equal treatment and industrial action (strikes). A strong focus of our employment litigation practice also lies on Supreme Court proceedings, where you will be able to contribute to landmark cases that shape the legal landscape in this field and where you may represent corporations, as well as unions and individual employees. At the same time, you will advise on employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and outsourcings. In short: we give you the opportunity to work on the cases that really make the difference in the employment field, instead of just reading about them.
