The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) was adopted on 16 January 2023 and applies as of 17 January 2025. While 2025 might seem far ahead, the implications of DORA are far-reaching and require preparation. Financial institutions will almost certainly have to adjust their governance structures, outsourcing policies and procurement policies. Existing agreements with ICT service providers will also need to be re-assessed and made "DORA-proof".
