De Brauw, as Dutch counsel, advised Tortuga Resorts, a joint venture between an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners, LLC and Rodina, in its USD 2 billion acquisition of 14 all-inclusive resort assets located across Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica from Hyatt Hotels Corporation. In connection with the closing, Tortuga and Hyatt have entered into 50-year management agreements for 13 of the 14 properties in the portfolio.
