Jaap specialises in M&A, corporate governance and capital markets. He has been involved in friendly, as well as hostile takeover bids, and has worked on many innovative cross-border public deal structures. In addition, he regularly advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters (including board structures, fiduciary duties, disclosure obligations and defences against activist shareholders). He has also been involved in numerous complex private M&A-transactions.
