Stijn specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration. He has been involved in arbitrations under the UNCITRAL, NAI, ICSID and VIAC rules and in setting-aside, recognition and enforcement proceedings before the Dutch courts.

Stijn has also assisted clients on a wide variety of finance transactions. Before joining De Brauw, Stijn worked in the Washington, D.C. and Paris offices of an American law firm, where he focused on international investment arbitration.
