Summary

Jan-Willem specialises in corporate, commercial and Supreme Court litigation. He acts on behalf of Dutch and international financial institutions and corporate clients. Before joining the litigation practice group, Jan-Willem was with De Brauw’s Investment Management Group, during which time he advised financial institutions, corporate and government bodies on fund management.

Jan-Willem holds a PhD degree in civil law as well as master’s degree in Business Economics. He has published on civil (liability) law and accountancy, in particular in the field of unjustified enrichment, limitation of claims and drafting of contracts. Jan-Willem also lectures regularly on civil law and Dutch procedural law.
