Jonathan has vast expertise in the field of ethics and integrity. In addition to litigation he advises boards of companies and institutions on a wide range of integrity and governance matters (relating to, among others, the (legal) embedding of core values, CSR and ethical codes of conduct). He was a member of the Dutch Code of Conduct for Lawyers revision committee and was involved in the implementation of the bankers oath and ethical rules in the Dutch financial sector.

Jonathan is full professor of administration of justice at the University of Amsterdam and is a frequently asked speaker at national and international conferences on integrity, (financial, professional and corporate) ethics, CSR, corporate governance and related matters. Furthermore, he lectures ethics at the Dutch national training institute for judges.
