As publicly listed companies start preparing for the 2027 AGM season and start sounding out their remuneration plans with shareholders and other stakeholders, this Masterclass takes stock of the notable remuneration-related events and developments from the 2026 AGM season. 

Beyond the headline trends, we will discuss several practical implications that may arise in specific situations – from unforeseen circumstances affecting target setting, to the treatment of variable remuneration elements in major corporate events. 

Although the Masterclass is generally geared towards compensation and HR professionals and legal counsel working at publicly listed companies, the Masterclass is also relevant for professionals working at private companies, particularly those companies that may consider an IPO or a public-to-private transaction at some point in time.
