
Rick van ’t Wout is a partner in De Brauw’s Employment, Pensions & Remuneration practice practice, where he focuses on remuneration and incentives. He advises PE, VC, corporates clients on management incentive plans, including sweet equity, SAR schemes, equity and equity-like plans, bonus schemes and LTIPs, as well as remuneration policies and executive compensation. Rick’s practice is closely connected to M&A, where he advises on incentives and other employment-related aspects of complex transactions.
Rick is recognised by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner in Employment and is described as a go-to lawyer for remuneration and incentive plans. Rick also contributes to thought leadership on remuneration and private equity, including publications on developments in respect of MIPs, Dutch bonus-cap rules in the financial sector and the Netherlands chapters of Lexology’s Private Equity guides.
