Josse Klijnsma specialises in corporate law and capital markets matters, in particular equity capital markets. He advises on all aspects of securities offerings and listings, and has for example assisted Takeaway.com in their successful initial public offering. Josse also advises listed companies on their ongoing financial markets regulation obligations, including dealing with inside information, insider trading rules and financial reporting. In addition, he advises on corporate governance topics, such as remuneration matters and compliance with the Dutch Corporate Governance Code.
Josse was also a member of De Brauw’s international arbitration practice, where he worked on complex, cross-border arbitration and litigation matters. Before joining De Brauw, Josse worked as a researcher at Harvard Law School and the University of Amsterdam, where he obtained his PhD in 2014 (cum laude). Currently, he is an editor of the Dutch law review Maandblad voor Vermogensrecht.
