Diederik has a broad transactional practice, with a focus on large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. He regularly assists clients with overseas transactions, often in Asia and the Americas, and is actively involved in the full spectrum of corporate, financing, project and construction agreements. In addition, he has broad financing experience, covering general corporate (syndicated) lending, as well as asset, leasing and project financing.
In 2016, Diederik was seconded to the global LNG team of Vopak, where he acted as in-house legal counsel. From 2011 – 2013, he was seconded to De Brauw’s China office, where he primarily assisted Dutch clients with M&A transactions in the greater China region. In 2010, he was seconded to the law firm of Slaughter and May in London and Hong Kong.
